Collan, who helps the outfitter with the horses, has got cowboy down cold.
It snowed in April while we rode. The one advantage I can think of is the nice patterns it made on the hills.
Our outfitter Pat (in the red coat) took us up on our horses to the top of the mummy formations.

Quite cold and wet to ride so set out to do the Burr trail this day but the Notom Rd to get there was like grease as it often is if wet. We pulled this rig up the grade before turning back too despite 4 wheel drive. We called a tow for the RV after we got a cell signal. Suspect they had to wait many hours and paid many $$ to get out.
Ugh, wet snow and horses don't mix well. Our friends were camping canoeing down the green river. A warm B&B awaited us.
